Let me save you some heartache. Do not buy this unit.
I ordered a refurbished 4350 (not from Amazon) and it would not maintain a signal. I was lucky if it held the signal for 10 minutes. Very frustrating as I was on a trip from Arizona to Florida. It even had all of the prior owners information in the phone book so Magellan obviously didn't even reload the operating system onto it after it was sent back by the original owner.

As soon as I received my 4350, I checked to see if the map database was current and was surprised to see that it was dated 2008. (A friend's home built in 2006 was conspicusously missing). I then re-checked the ... Read More

I just recieved my Magellan in the mail about a month and a half ago and I have been using it in the city that i go to school in. I haven't had any trouble with it yet, works great as far as I can tell. I have noticed that sometimes the voice cuts out mid sentence when it is re-calculating. Not really a big deal to me but it might be to someone else?

Bought this unit for a road trip. Within a day of use, it froze and needed to be reset. Froze again on my trip and needed to reset the little button while driving. This happened 4 times in less then a month. Also, the unit was completely lost when I was navigating on foot. It could not figure out where I was and was constantly searching for a GPS location, completely unreliable. Returning it for a different model.
