Did microsoft hire the three witches from Hamlet to make something that would cause us all to pull out our hair? I recieved Windows 7 with my new (heavenly) HP Pavilion, and it has been grief and pain since I ripped open the package. With Windows Vista, My computer ran smoothly and (mostly) glitch free.
My troubles have been three fold.
1) I couldn't seem to install it myself on my new computer. After three hours of unsuccessful "inable to install" attempts, I bribed a computer techinician ... Read More

No problems, all as advertised. I wanted to buy this product when it first came out. When I did want to buy it, it was no longer available (stores, web). I was happy to find it and at a decent discount!

I have very little computer knowledge but the up grade from Vista to 7 was very easy. I've now used Windows 7 for a couple of weeks and I'm really impressed with it. I take a lot of pictures and dislike having to sort them out as it took a lot of work but now it has made sorting pictures a lot easier and faster. Still don't like to do it but it's faster and not so cumbersome.

This upgrade to Windows 7 was worth the money! Mac is still the way to go but this is the next best....

When I want something right away the first place I look is Amazon they always have what I'm looking for, and this time I was looking for Windows 7 and someone out there was selling it at the right price so I bought it. So thanks Amazon for being out there for people to buy and sell items its worth just browsing and seeing all you can offer to us folks out there.
